GOOOOOOD news

Alright, so earlier this evening I received theeee greatest news of my life. That might be a big exaggeration, but I don't know how else to put it cuz it was pretty great. As I logged onto my byu Route Y account to view my final first semester grades, my heart was pounding. Finals week about killed me, and I didn't do as well as I would have hoped on my math final. I had done the best I could do, and now it was time to see if my best was good enough. I scrolled down past all my other classes to view math 110. REQUIREMENT COMPLETE. You can not even comprehend how relieved I was to see I had barely passed Satan's class with a C+. Never in my life had I been so happy to see such a poor grade. I had passed all of my other classes too. :] I feel so smart, like I can actually do the whole college thing. My first semester was really intimidating, and I wasn't so sure I would be able to handle the challenge of my classes. After seeing that all my hard work has paid off, I have a lot more confidence in myself. Bring on semester 2.

Footprints In The Sand.

Last night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonged to me, the other to the Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very l owest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. “Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You’d walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don’t

understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me.”

The Lord replied, “My son, my precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of suffering, when you could see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

Merry Christmas One And All

It's a Christmas Miracle. I am up and walking. I got surgery on my feet around

9 AM on monday morning. I know, what am I thinking getting surgery during my short break from school. I don't even know myself. All I know is it's only my 4THday after surgery and I am walking around with no pain at all. I have these fat attractive booties to go along with it. SO HOT RIGHT!? Christmas once again was aSUCCESS.

1. Anthropology clothing (dreams really do come true :])

2. SNUGGIE (it is quite the invention)

3. Coolpix S70 touchscreen camera (Ashton Kutcher has one so it's even better)

4. Beatles Rockband (I WORSHIP)

I love the Christmas season and being able to spend time with my family. It's probably one of my favorite times of the year (minus the snow). Don't get mewrong, Snow is

good for some things. Like snowboarding, snowball fights, and it makes hot cocoa all the more better. But have you ever tried walking around BYUcampus in the snow. Approximately

5 people slip and fall a day. Lucky for me, Santa got me some rain boots so I won't embarrass myself byfalling. I can't wait for my feet to heal so I can wear them beauties. Christmas has come and gone once again. I guess 2010 is next.

Monday, December 21st 2009 was a sad day. My pal, and cockateel bird Spike passed away. He was 17 years old and lived a good long life. I'm sure going to miss that lil guy. He would would always greet me with a song, or his version of "hi spike." . He was always there squawk-in away morning and night. He loved to be a part of the conversation. He wasn't just a pet, he was a part of our family. He had been since I was 4 years old. He's in a better place now, flying around with out a cage to keep him in. Thanks for the memories :] xoxo

k I have nightmares thinking about all the things I have to do in a short 7 days. sheesh.Cut me some slack here, I am only a freshman.

LIST:

-catch up on 10 (100 problems) math assignments.

-make an 8 min. power point presentation.

-go to a math review (ZZzZZZzz)

-Take a math test (not even the final..boo)

-write FOUR concert reports

-MUSIC FINAL

-Geology quiz on ch. 19 (these caused me the most grief.)

-Book of Mormon quiz (eaze)

-Try and stay sane

-Write a reflection paper

-And try and find time to study for my finals.

CURSE YOU FINALS WEEK. I just wish it was christmas already. At least there's a bright light in the dark tunnel ahead.

Hey thur. The name's Brittany. Some call me Btrack or Bertney {bert for short}. Lemme tell ya a lil bit about myself. I'm 18 years old, and i'm a Freshman here at BYU. {I bleed blue}. I have short blonde hair and green eyes. I'm a little thing---5'3" and I have tiny hands and feet to go along with that. I have recently found a new love for reading. My favorite author is Sarah Dessen. I can not seem to put her books downnn. I'm an only child with THE ABSOLUTE BEST PARENTS IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD. families are forever. I believe in happily ever after & I have my heart set on the temple. {oh just keeping my eyes on the prize is all} Music makes the world go round as long as it isn't mainstream. You can always find me singing. I drive a silver honda civic. It's my baby. I love everything zebra, maybe a little too much. I have one weakness in this life and that would be shopping. {can u say shopaholic?}. I'd pick Edward over Jacob anyday. {even though Jacob wins best body}.I smell fancy. I have pretty buff fore arms from scooping up ice cream at Coldstone every friday. Come visit me! I am fond of wearing red lipstick. It makes me feel sophisticated. I've been a sucker for soup ever since my trip to Ireland. They know their stuff over there. I love when my pets{max.zipper.spike} welcome me home after a long stay at college. pumpkin spice {&everythingnice}

OH BABY! I just returned from Red Mango. Tis the season to be jolly. Tis the season to bless the world with PUMPKIN SPICE frozen yogurt. MMmmmmm divine. At first I was skeptical, but once I combined the power of Pumpkin, graham cracker, and mini chocolate chips: I fell in love. I dred the day when they remove my favorite flavor from me for a whole nother year. But until then, I'm just gonna have to keep showin' my support.

p.s. I HOPE THEY HAVE RED MANGO IN HEAVEN!!!

Saturday, November 28 2009. What a RUSH. The BYU vs. UofU game. The game I had been waiting all year for. This year, I scored ROW 6 tickets [baybay]. I am in L.O.V.E with Byu football games. I'm proud to say I didn't miss a single game this whole season. REPRESENT! This game was definitely worth the wait. It was freezing cold and I couldn't feel my feet after the first 5 minutes in [That wasn't funnnn] but still DEFINITELY WORTH frost bite. The game went into overtime, then BAM..... BYU TOUCHDOWN!!! Yes, of course I stormed the field. I was on row 6, it was my responsibility. I don't really know how i was able to run, cuz at that point i had no feeling in my feet whatsoever. I'd like to thank Bryson for always sitting next to me at games and helping me warm my feet in his blanket. I'd also like to thanks Harvey UNGA for being a stud and taking BYU football to great heights. Thanks mom and Dad for buying me an all-sports pass. And last but not least thank you my dear, dear, Brigham for founding this university. GOOO MIGHTY COUGARS! :]

Thanksgiving.

This years thanksgiving was SCRUMPTIOUS{period}. It has to be one of my favorite days of the whole year. Eating till you almost explode.Movies. Card Games. Laughing. No school. I love everything about it. Why does this glorious day only have to happen once a year!? Lets put it to a vote. All in favor of having thanksgiving multiple times a year say I. EYE!!!
