Well my 30 days of thanksgiving was a complete & total bust. OOPS! but that's just the way it goes around here. BUT GUESS WHAT, it's the new year! So you know what THAT means, more things I say I'm gonna do but end up not doing..so obviously one of my goals happens to be to be better at sticking to things I say i'm gonna do. Before I go off about the future and how much better this year is going to be than the last, I want to just take a min. to reflect on how awesome 2012 really was. It definitely had it's downs, but for the most part I grew a lot and had a lot of fun along the way.
My job at Sheps has definitely been the highlight of my year. I have met some of the most amazing people, and I have grown so much as a stylist. Helllo! Who wouldn't love working in a high end salon with the best people around. I'm so grateful for the opportunity I've had this past year to grow into a better hairdresser.
I also got to move in with 3 of the greatest girls ever! I'm sadly losing 2 to marriage and an internship. Why must we grow up? Bottom line, we're all really cool. Lucky for me Tracie gets to stay(: Here's to 5 more months of late night chats, random urges to get in shape and run at 6AM (we're crazy we know), and going to all of our ward activities.... (well at least we're really gonna try this year).
My family and cousins got annual passes to Disneyland. Pretty sure we made about 6 trips in one year. I already want to go back!
Best of all, each year I find my testimony keeps on growing as I learn more and understand more about the gospel. I wouldn't trade any trial this past year for anything because they've definitely changed me for the better and have brought me closer to my Savior. I can't wait to see what God has planned for me this year.
I have a feeling 2013 is going to be MY YEAR!
1.I'm going to attend Institute every week.
2. I'm going to go to the temple at least 2 times a month.
3.run a 5k
4. Get into good shape
5. Spend less time shopping and save money (oh how much i need this)
Bring it on 2013.
